Death certificate, deed of succession, mutation and partition, in the order Goa's offices need them.
In Goa, heirs do not simply "inherit" in the records. The death is certified, the heirs are declared in a deed of succession before the Civil Registrar-cum-Notary (or settled in court inventory proceedings when they disagree), and only then does the Mamlatdar mutate the Record of Rights and, if the heirs want separate holdings, the Dy. Collector partition the property. This journey walks that chain and names the officer and time limit at each step.
