Technical Clearance for building plans
Town & Country Planning
In areas outside a Planning and Development Authority, the Taluka office of the Town & Country Planning Department checks your building plans against the zoning plan and the building regulations (setbacks, floor area ratio, height, parking, access) and issues a Technical Clearance Order. It is the first permission in the building chain; the panchayat or municipal licence follows it.
