A new low-tension (ordinary domestic) electricity connection from the Electricity Department. Needs proof of ownership or occupancy and identity, and in panchayat areas the Panchayat's NOC.
Photo Identity Proof (Any one): Electoral Identity Card/ Passport/ Driving License/ Photo Identity Card issued by Government agency/ PAN Card/ Certificate from village authority (Pradhan/ Patwari/Lekhpal/ village worker/ chowkidar/Primary school teacher/PHC in-charge, etc.)/ Aadhaar Card.
If Applicant is an Organization: Signature of competent authority (e.g., Branch Manager, Principal, Executive Engineer) along with relevant resolution/authority letter of the institution concerned.
Proof of Ownership/Occupancy (Any one): Registered sale deed/lease deed of the premises/Form I & XIV/ Municipal/Panchayat tax receipt indicating house number and owner’s name/ Letter of allotment/ House registration certificate issued by Panchayat/ownership/ certificate by Revenue Authorities/ Succession deed/inventory proceedings/registered will GST registration reflecting name and address of premises If none available: order under the Goa Health Act issued by the concerned Health Officer Test Certificate and Wiring Diagram from a licensed electrical contractor (mandatory before release of connection)
Visit Goa Online Portal (www.goaonline.gov.in) and complete the user registration by entering your email ID, mobile number, name, address and date of birth and verify the details through OTP authentication.
After successful registration, log in to the portal and navigate to Services --- All Services, and search for “New Electricity connection- LT”
Select “New Electricity Connection Low Tension” and click on Proceed to Apply.
Fill in all the required application details and click Save & Proceed.
If required upload all the required supporting documents in the prescribed format.
After uploading the required documents make the application fee payment
Submit the application and note the acknowledgement no. for application tracking.
